We treat cost data as sensitive. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you stay in control.

Data controller

  • MAEMO, registered with the CBE under number BE 1026.149.637, operating under the trade name "CloudCost Lite", is the data controller for the personal data processed through this service.

Information we collect

  • Account details such as name and email address when you sign up or invite a teammate.
  • Authentication metadata from the identity provider you choose (Google, GitHub, Azure AD, or email).
  • Cost data you upload via CSV import, including any metadata columns contained in the file.
  • Operational telemetry such as API access logs and error reports (Sentry).

How we use your data

  • Provide and improve the cost analysis dashboards and related features.
  • Notify you about product changes, billing events, or security updates.
  • Investigate and resolve issues surfaced through Sentry or customer support.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • We do not share uploaded cost data with third parties except the services we rely on to run CloudCost Lite (hosting, email, observability).
  • We do not retain deleted workspaces—when you close an account we remove associated data from primary systems within 30 days, backups within 60 days.

Your controls

  • Request an export or deletion by emailing info@cloudcostlite.com from the owner email address.
  • Remove teammates or revoke invites from Settings → Members at any time.
  • Disable non-essential communications by updating your notification preferences under Settings.

Data processing locations

  • We host the application on Vercel and store data in PostgreSQL with point-in-time recovery.
  • Transactional emails are delivered via third-party email services.
